SUCCESS STARTS IN THE AFTERNOON - We wake up in the morning, the day is untarnished, today we’re going to do it perfectly, follow the plan, do everything right, stick to good nutrition, get to training, train hard, be positive and upbeat, be kind to everyone and make awesome things happen. But how do we do that if we’re not set up to be ready and prepared? I like to make sure my day is great by setting it up the afternoon before. These little tips and hacks will make you 80% more successful and likely to succeed tomorrow!
Plan your day, your training and your eating plan. Set your clothes and shoes out ready for morning exercise. Prepare your water in the fridge, towel and gym bag ready by the door and wind down early enough in the afternoon to ensure you have a clean and good quality sleep. Set your time to turn your devices off, put blue blockers on, turn the wifi off, wind up the amount you’re drinking to try and reduce night time bathroom visits and start to calm your evening. Stretch or incorporate breathing exercises to help even more. Use imagery techniques to run through your day in your mind. Then, when you wake up, you’ve slept well, you’re gear is prepared and so too will your mind be. Now you’re going to have an excellent training session, which will result in you feeling even more successful with your dopamine and endorphins elevated. When you feel successful, you’re more inclined to eat well and play the rest of your day out the way you hoped it would be. Don’t forget to do it all again to be ready for the following day!
