So you want to lose 10 kilos, you’re fed up of feeling rubbish after you eat, bloated and tired, you’re ready to see the scales go down and you’re desperate for the results, but where do you start to make all this happen?
Nutrition is the key to living every day in a lean, healthy body full of energy with balanced hormones, well fuelled and functioning mitochondria and an efficient, healthy metabolism.
Most people don’t realise how good they could be feeling. Or that the reason they’re feeling so rubbish is because of their diet. This doesn’t take three months or three years to change. This takes three days!! Your body is NOT fighting you. It’s WAITING for you! Despite the rubbish we feed ourselves it’s doing its best possible job to keep you ticking over. When you fuel it correctly, it stops having to work so hard. It’s allowed to relax and it instantly starts to function as it wants to.
You will feel your metabolism speed up, you will feel your digestion calm down, your mental clarity will return, any bloating will completely disappear. You’ll wake up feeling light and rested. You’ll feel sustained and balanced with energy throughout the day but perfectly sleepy at bed time. Your weight will drop on the scales within one to two days.
This isn’t too good to be true, this is the way we’re created and designed to function. Modern life, stress, poor nutrition and unhealthy lifestyles have masked this for us.
There are many different approaches to nutrition and many may work for you. We can identify a starting point based on your current eating habits, what you already know of your body’s tendencies, your personal symptoms and struggles, your age, gender, lifestyle demands, your goals and your desired preferences.
We build a meal plan based around all these variables ensuring you have the fuel you need to get you the results you want.
But this isn’t always the final meal plan. As we go along your body will tell you what’s right and what’s not working. I teach you how to unlock this and how to listen to the guidance of your body. This enables us to make quick adjustments to get even further on track. Your body has the answers!
When it’s time to change the meal plan you’ll know. We can work through higher and lower calorie days depending on the body demands, as well as refeeds and cheat meals to factor in life’s events and the need for a treat every now and then.
Whichever nutrition plan approach you take, you will want to keep it nutritious and accurate in order to sustain your training and fuel your goals. We don’t want to be crash dieting whilst training extremely hard and expect gains in both fat loss, muscle development, strength, fitness and health. Once you’ve fuelled your body correctly you will reduce body fat and increase muscle without having to deplete calories in a way that you will have to pay for later.
Remember all the other components need to be monitored and tracked too. Hydration, supplementation, rest, recovery, sleep, mindset, tracking and accountability.
