TRAINING AT HOME - Training at home is such a great option for training if you’re short of time, don’t have a gym membership, don’t have 24/7 access to your gym, away without gym access or just don’t feel like doing gym vibes today or ever. Sure you have less equipment at home but you can absolutely train as hard as you would at the gym. The main difference for most people is that you’re less likely to have access to as much physical weight. Therefore in order to train at a relative 100% effort within a rep range, the physical weight you’re lifting will be lighter and you’ll likely be doing more reps or more duration or higher intensity on one exercise. But there is so much work you can get done with body weight, small apparatus, lighter weights, explosive work, balance and full body high intensity circuits. No matter what equipment you have or don’t have I guarantee you can get lean, fit and healthy at home. But if you do have access to purchasing some small items on a budget, pop into Kmart/BigDub and grab a yoga mat, ab roller, exercise bands, light weights, medicine ball, Swiss ball, jump rope, Balance board and grab a foam roller and trigger point ball whilst you’re at it. I just put all that in the shopping cart on the Kmart website and it totals $82!! Home workouts are so fun, so effective and SO CONVENIENT!
